2024.10.25
Getac Holdings Corporation (TWSE: 3005) has been honored on the World’s Most Trustworthy Companies 2024 list , a collaboration between Newsweek and the global data research firm Statista. This recognition underscores Getac’s exceptional performance and solid reputation in the technology hardware sector. A total of 46 companies in the global technology hardware industry were honored, with nine companies from Taiwan making the list. In addition to Getac, notable Taiwanese companies such as TSMC, MediaTek, and Delta Electronics were also recognized.
The "World's Most Trustworthy Companies 2024" survey aims to select companies that are the most trusted by customers, investors, and employees, highlighting the excellence of those listed in terms of transparency and responsibility. The selection process covers 23 industries across 20 countries, focusing on publicly listed companies with annual revenues exceeding $500 million. This evaluation is based on feedback from over 70,000 respondents regarding 230,000 companies, supplemented by nearly a million social listening data points. Ultimately, 1,000 outstanding companies were selected. The scoring criteria weigh customer trust and investor trust at 40% each, employee trust at 20%, and also consider negative scandals or lawsuits that could impact a company's image.
"We are honored to be recognized as a globally trusted company. This not only affirms our many years of integrity in business operations but also encourages us to continue driving customer- and employee-centric innovation, enhancing service quality, and proactively responding to market and societal needs as we strive toward excellence. We will also continue to create value for shareholders, providing stable returns through sound business management and strategies, working together with all stakeholders toward a better future," said James Hwang, Chairman of Getac Holdings Corporation.
